Right. I always insert on 00 frames with 720p at 59.94. I know the DS is
dividing the TC by 2, but are you inserting at 00 frames or have you
tried that?

Sort of. Since the project is 720 59.94p, the deck timecode is 29.97 DF
whereas the DS has always called it 59.94 DF. This has never been a
problem outputting before, however, we just divide the sequence frame
numbers by two to get the correct tape timecode.
We don't usually insert however, usually we are just doing assemble
edits.
Update: defrag changed nothing, and I also tried a different deck
profile as suggested in another thread. No help.
