You can mix all you want as far as any technical issues are concerned.
Your 24p Varicam material is also 720 59.94p strictly speaking. The only
issue is that the Varicam material will look different because of the
3:2 cadence that is essential to the 24p mode. This may be an issue with
the network or whoever has commissioned the project.
