Graham/Marc;
We've finally got the deck in......Here's were my inexperience with the 500 come into play....The tape was NOT labeled correctly (or at all) and does not clearly state the frame rate?? How do I tell?? Does/will the deck tell me?? Right now I'm shooting in the dark!! and checking all the frame rates...would be nice to know for sure!!

Isn't all this the same as what I had written in the first place? If you
have a 30 sec spot, I needs to remain a 30 second spot, not 31,32,33, or 34.
The 4% increase does no good. He's using master tapes, and needs to re-purp
them for the US market (NTSC). They still need to be 30. So either way, he's
going to need to do a time warp which equals render time. Or go get a UFC
and do it that way.
