Hi Ken,

Create a new Film sequence selecting the resolution that match your 2K sequence. Then link to your DPX file and specify the LUT used to encode those DPX (if any, otherwise select linear). Once this is done drop the clip on the timeline, go to sequence preference and switch the working res to HD proxy and then render the timeline. This will give you a realtime playable YUV 4:2:2 anamorphic proxy that you can then playback thru the Nitris HW. If you go into the downconvert settings of the output dialog, you will be able to choose how the anamorphic proxy will be displayed on your 16:9 HD monitor (options availables depend on the aspect ration of the 2K files).

Hope this help,

Nitris V7.6  HP8000

A client has a drive with 2K Cineon files they would like to screen. What is the workflow I need to screen these on my Nitris?  I have no experience with 2K.  Can I link right to their drives? What monitors (computer or video) can I watch these files on?
TIA

KEN
