Yes it helps, thanks Paul.  It seems easy enough. How long do you think a render for about 4 minutes of 2K files will take?

I linked to my Cineon files on an external drive, but you WILL have to render them. I had an HD seq open, I linked to my Cineon files, put them in the timeline (and due to how it was shot, had to use a DVE to move the Cineon into a proper position) the processed the timeline and watched it back on our HD Monitor.

It would be great if you have the LUT for the Cineon, but you have the option of adjusting them on import.

Does that help?

A client has a drive with 2K Cineon files they would like to screen. What is the workflow I need to screen these on my Nitris?  I have no experience with 2K.  Can I link right to their drives? What monitors (computer or video) can I watch these files on?
TIA
