Robert,

Not dumb.  That could be one solution.  Many times have I recaptured but not recaptured with audio and had that bite me.

After re-reading your post, my suggestion was dumb.
I had something similar occur the other day where no matter how many times I purged and re-captured a clip I got the "media not found" slide.
I finally deleted the clip and captured another one with the identical name and in/out points.  That worked.
Odd thing was this was one clip out of 40 or so that had been batch captured.  The other 39 (or so) came in fine.

Maybe select recapture with options and make sure the audio tracks are still selected?

Ok, MY turn.

I have done this before (MANY times) but it just ain't working for me now. I captured a clip...then I figured out later on that I need to have that clip be 30 sec longer (roughly). So I go to the folder the clip is in, right click the clip and go to Properties and then select the General Tab and set the duration to the length I need and hit APPLY. Everything is fine. The clip has media missing at the end of it. GREAT.

Now I right click and select Recapture and it asks for the tape and it goes and captures the missing media (video AND audio). HOWEVER, when I play the clip back the video is at the end, but the audio does NOT play back (only at the extended capture point, all other audio originally captured is there and playing back).

So, the cool part...I selected the clip, purged the media and decided to recapture the whole thing with the new length. I do it and guess what, it plays back the same as above!! Video is completely there, but he audio only plays back to where the ORIGINAL outpoint was located. It just cuts off and goes to silence while the video plays.

As I have said, I have done this many times before (in earlier versions) without any issues.

WHAT have I done wrong?  :(

Thanks and I hope everyone's year is the best it's ever been...even with Avid doing what it's doing to the DS...WHO knows?
