Hi Aleks.
There is no backup hidden anywhere. That is why I love using save as. Here
is something you can try though before starting over.

Make a new blank seq. and drag the corrupt seq. file from the explorer to
the blank seq. This has helped me in the past. Good luck.

Also, you should update to QFE3.
