Having heard about some (unspecified) problems with the Windows Zip
tool, I use Stuffit to create my zips. Windows unzips them just fine.

Subject: which Zip?

Happy New Year folks!

I read with interest the thread a few weeks back about certain
variations on the good old WinZip program not working well for DS
Archives.

What about the integrated zip program in XP? As I understand it, it IS
Win Zip, just licensed by Microsoft.

Anything I should know? We are starting our New Years clean up and want

to archive a lot of old projects?

Thanks,

Jef
