How to export the EDL of a timeline full of CONTAINERS

Subject : How to export the EDL of a timeline full of CONTAINERS

Hi,

I have a timeline full of containers, matte effects, split screens, etc. So what's the best way to export an EDL for color correction without having to get into each containers manually.

 

I've tried the following:

export the EDL for the Master timeline which generated like 50 EDLs and combined them in the EDL Processor... but the results were unexpected. It included a bunch of unexpected clips... and it was to hard to verify that everything needed for the session was there.

 

Any recommendations? Has anybody done this before succesfully? What's your approach?
