Here's an idea: Wouldn't it be nice if we had one that worked? The 
current implementation in DS is kind of funky, as it has a radius 
that goes from 0 to 32 with absolutely no sub-pixel interpolation. 
Too bad since, at least for me, a regular sharpen filter is useful 
only between 0.01 to about 1.2...

Maybe we could ask one of the two currently assigned developers to 
set off an afternoon for fixing it?

Just a thought.
