Seems to be disk fragmentation or playback of yellow ribbon section that
are dropping frames, process yellow ribbon. Maybe it's not the audio
that drop frames but the video. Check for sync as well going to your
Nitris.

Hope this helps.

Hello all and a Happy New Year to you!

last night i did a job spread over 2 of our DS suites (v7.6 - QFE 3) -
adding audio to HD pictures in a 1080/50i project, and laying off to HD
master.

The client provided a CD with .wav files which i captured and converted
from
44.1 to 48. No problem at all.

One suite played the audio without any errors and worked fine. The other

suite however couldn't play a reliable audio stream (the play button in
the
record monitor turned red, even where there was no audio i.e. between
clips).

Very odd.

Has anybody experienced a problem like this with QFE3 - be interested to

know!

cheers,

Kristian, Molinare (London)
