Tone,
try the newest Wacom software v4.93-3. That seems to work fine. Found on Wacom web page.

Yup, I don't really need the script (which I have) because it's not locking up, just stopping.
I'll try the eraser tip - thanks :)

I have my on gefen extenders, and it still happens, usually just flipping it over and tapping the eraser end to the tablet brings it back. Once in a great while I have to use the little script that was posted.

Hi Guys,

Remind me - did we ever come up with a solution for the "Wacom stops responding" issue?

It used to happen to me occasionally in my last setup, but now with 2 five metre powered USB extenders it happens every minute or so.

Waggling the mouse always makes it spring back into life so it's not a disaster - just irritating.

If there's no cure then I'll just live with it.

Cheers,
Tone :)
