PROBLEM SOLVED: 44.1 wavs captured at 48khz

Thanks as always for replies to my puzzle!

After a bit of tinkering and the wisdom of a more experienced colleague, the 
problem was nailed! 

PROBLEM -  44.1khz .wavs captured at 48khz (but refusing to play).

SOLUTION - there were caches on top of the timeline, left from a previous RP 
render. The video tracks were muted (as i was only dropping in audio) but DS 
was looking for the redundant rendered caches - this resulted in unstable 
playback and meant i couldn't lay out to tape. 

I deleted all the caches and it played perfectly.
