Just one little detail, DS can't read the HDV media or the
new DNXHD thin raster media (1440x1080 HDV media transcoded to DNXHD) so you
will need to transcode the HDV footage to regular DNHXD media and relink to that
media before creating the AFE.
Hope this help,

Magnus, You could conform in
Xpress Pro native HDV. Then copy the media to
DS, make an AFE and the timeline will link to the HDV
media. Have a look at the
conform guide for more details. Ta Tim From:

with HDV footage in DS. I have a client who has shot on HDV and bounced it on to
Digi Beta for the offline. He was going to online on our SD Adrenaline
but he thinks the Digi Betas were transferred badly and wants to go back to
the original HDV tapes and conform it HD in DS. Can DS take in native HDV? If
not then any workflow suggestions would be
appreciated. Thanks Magnus
