Got any Media Composers? They'd have an attic...

Actually, this is kind of a sore spot with DS users - there is no attic. There are, however, autosaves (if you have autosave enabled in you user preferences) that can be recalled but only for the current project. If DS is not running, they would be for the most recently used project. It's located (in version 7.6, at least) at C:\Progrm Files\Avid\DS_v7.6\DSSystem\temp.(your user name here). There's also a CrashBackup folder at this location that may have some helpful items.

To recover a sequence, you must copy it from this temp folder to your project folder where you want it to live and rename it whatever you want with .Segment at the end. Make sure the "S" is capitalized.

If you've moved on and been working on other projects, though, there is no way to recall an old sequence.

Hope this helps...

Russ

Does anyone know where to locate the Avid Attic Folder?
