The only thing 'hardware wise' I would see as being an issue is the 
difference in graphics cards. The qualified card for the xw8200 is the 
"nVidia
Quadro FX 3400". So if your using a unqualified card your drivers might 
be wrong when you install them off the CD.

I have seen issues when people use unqualified cards. They don't have 
the ability to see realtime video in the record monitor without 
specific driver updates.
What is real annoying too is the fact that when they do get a driver 
that allows realtime video in the software, the only useable screen 
size isn't DS size so all the interfaces don't quite fit. It drives me 
crazy when my panel buttons at the bottom or parts of the interface are 
chopped off. The people paying the money don't care as long as it 
works. It works.. sort of.

If you don't have the Quadro FX 3400 You won't be qualified anymore. Do 
you care?
