I've had it happen. Usually the lines are a little bluish in color. Avid has
replaced pretty much every board in my system, last time they tried the
little ribbon cables that connect the codec to base PCI boards in the CPU.
Basically it comes and goes as it pleases.
Reseating all the cards and cables helps, sometimes. Replacing random cards
with new ones from Avid helps, sometimes. Usually it just goes away after a
day or two.
Some might see this as a major, show-stopping bug. Avid doesn't seem to give
it quite the same levity as I (or my clients) do.
Good luck.
