Title: RE: waiting for rendered image....

Linking is useful when you want to deal with a file that is bigger than your canvas size and you will be animating it, so from a workflow perpsective, let me suggest to resize it ( if it is very big ) outside the DS, and then just capture, otherwise, I believe you can use one of the resizing options in the DS, but none will give you the result you want unless the file happens to be a 4:3 ratio already. Of course you could link, like you have, place on the timeline and save a file from that timeline, but every case is different and coming to the fastest processing time for every scenerio is not always what we actaully start off doing

Objet : waiting for rendered image....

What does it mean?!  I've got  a sequence with a graphic file that I linked to.  On that is a write-on effect and a DVE.  Everytime I go to render it begins, but then sits on the frame with the message "waiting for rendered image" forever.  Finally, if I hit cancel the entire program freezes up.  I am able to render little pieces at a time, but I'd like to be able to set up the seq to render overnight.  Any thoughts out there?
