What about
if you’re lasso-ing a whole bunch of stuff? As in shift-click, drag from right, highlighting section of
timeline you want to copy. I get
the jumbled tracks too and it’s quite annoying.

I make sure
that I first tap the top most layer in the timeline before I paste. It
works every time.
For example,
if you are pasting V3, V2, V1, then make sure you tap the V3 track in the
time line before you paste.
If you were
to tap V2 first, then you would get the self rearranged track.

Changing
Question:
Why when you copy multiple tracks, say v1 v2 a1
a2 a3. And then paste them the track patching of the paste doesn't stay the
same? I'll get maybe one copy that is similar then try and do it again and v1
is routed to v2 and the audio tracks aren't in the same place.
I know
how to repatch before paste but I don't know why it changes it and makes me
have to repatch.
Does
anyone know? Or better yet how to get DS not to arbitrarily do it.
Thanks,
