Dear Andi,
Thanx for your great answer.
I always appreciate your help in DS list.
I couldn't explain for TR145, because i wasn't in front of DS this weekend.

Best regards.

Chan

DNxHD TR145 (Thin Raster) is a special DNxHD coding for anamorphic HD ie. HDV. DS hasn't got this possebility so you need to use DNxHD 185 or 220 when exporting to DS. This is only possible if you change the project properties to1080 50i instead of HDV before doing the transcoding.

Hi Magnus,

I had this experience last week.
An editor worked from Adrenaline HD, capturing HDV natif and i had to import AFE and Avid Files. How i did...
You have to export AFE from Adrenaline HD then convert in DNxHD (See Consolidate/Transcode in Adrenaline).
Then you will see a Folder in a Disk (Which you decided to convert Medias...) calls Avid MediaFiles/MXF/1.
You have to copy this in a External Disk or sharing a folder by network...to work to DS.

In Windows(DS), you have to put the Avid MediaFiles in a Videostorage and turn on DS tool, Import AFE and go to Configure Storage and choose add new Media Storage and, choose Read only.
Then on a Top, you have to choose a Path for Media. This Path, do NOT choose MXF but a folder 1!!!(D:Videostorage/MXF/1)
After clicking ok,then you can work greatly without Batch or Recapture!
From On-Line Adrenaline HD, you can work No loosing a long time!!!
Hope to help you.

Hello

Has anybody on the list ever worked with HDV footage in DS. I have a client who has shot on HDV and bounced it on to Digi Beta for the offline. He was going to online on our SD Adrenaline but he thinks the Digi Betas were transferred badly and wants to go back to the original HDV tapes and conform it HD in DS. Can DS take in native HDV? If not then any workflow suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks
