I just talked to a Post Supervisor who is on a project that is posting in LA that was shot in South Africa... he didn't have a problem. They shot HDCAM on the Sony 950.  No monitor problems or electrical for that matter... we onlined two of the shows they shot down there and we didn't have any issues with the footage they shot at 23.976 either...

Until next time...

I’ll be working soon on a movie being shot in South Africa, they want to shoot 24P, but somebody is telling them that they should shoot 50I

Because if they shoot 24P, there’ll be some electrical interference with lights and monitor being shot.

Is this true?

Can somebody confirm this for sure, I need a precise and accurate confirmation.

Thank you!
