Title: RE: Multiple DSsssss

It just means that when you have the same project in 2 rooms, you can literraly copy and paste a sequence from one to the other ( or email it for that matter ) so as long as you didnt just digitize new footage in one project that`s not in the other because the other project wont know what it is, the sequence will open ( I think ) but the clips wont be match-framable and therefore you can not do a recapture. So as long as you didnt capture or digitize or import or link or do anything new in the project, you can do a new sequence with effects and keyframes and email it to someone who already restored that poject, and it will be fine.

I had to do this on a big project that was taking too long to keep archiving and restoring, so when I did a new sequence, I just put a copy on our network and other rooms dragged it in their project, but because I had new clips involved, I had to go in their room, tell them the clips I captured ( because it was on the network ), and same capture settings of coarse, then replaced the clips in the timeline and resaved the sequence, now they had the proper template to work with.

But if you do a new sequence in one room that uses material that was not part of the project when archived ( like a new master clip ), and then you copy the sequence only to the other existing project in the other DS, it will not work, you will have to archive and restore again. But, on the other hand the opposite is true. You can copy a sequence and paste directly in the other project if all the clips in the sequence were already in both projects. This saves you from archiving and restoring over and over again.
