Ken,

A variation on Murph's post... I think you have to limit the audio input to the DVCAM deck in the menus  to 2 channels not 4 or the 48k will not work.

Anyone??

Hi Ken,

Are you running 2 channels of audio or 4?  2 Channels run at 48K.  4 Channels run at 32K.  Can't do 4 channels of 48K on a DSR2000 (or any other DVCam machine - that I'm aware of).

Subject: HD Deck Downconvert Question

HDW S2000 HDCam Deck
AJA HD10MD3 HD to SD Digital Downconverter

HDCam 23.98 Tape playing back in HDW S2000 thru AJA Downconverter SDI in and out into DVW-A500.  Video and Audio come thru the SDI input into the Digibeta fine.  When the SDI out of the AJA is patched into the SDI in of a DSR2000 DVCam deck, Video is fine but there is no audio.  Anyone have any experience with this and know why I can get audio via SDI downconvert into the Digibeta but not into the DVCam Deck?

TIA

KEN
