Two quick ideas:

1. Make sure your search area boxes are big enough to (the outer box) to cover the maximum distance a point moves from one frame to the next

2. Turn off "translation only" for the track points; Depending on what pixel pattern you're tracking, it could be that it's changing so drastically from frame to frame which is why the tracker is getting lost (because it can't find the original pixel pattern anymore). For rotation, circular marks work best for this reason (since circles don't look any different when you rotate them)
