Emergency!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I do not really want to have to deal with a Google account and I think they will eventually resist the size of a list like this.

 

Does anyone have server space that could host a new DS user list? I think the Avid Forum will be entirely too stodgy for my taste and I have been hanging my hat here for over 8 years. I tried the Avid forum before.

 

Seriously we need to move fast to migrate to a new list before this ship sinks. I cannot express how sad I am to see that the rumors about the demise of this list were true. We can only ponder the fate of DS now.

 

Sylvain, we know it was not you that originated this idea but you will have to take some of the heat since you said it was your "decision". I am truly sorry my friend.

Due to recent events with the Avid DS mailing-list and its fragility regarding virus infections and mail distribution stability, I have taken the decision to migrate this service to the more robust and secure environment of the Avid Community Forums.

The Community Forums on Avid.com already includes an active list for Avid DS.  I encourage you to open an account and participate.

Over 35,000 users have joined the forums since their launch November 2005.  With volunteer moderators in all forums, there is a strong focus on resolving problems and working with peers.
