And everyone is, as always invited to the Avid-L2, if such things are of interest to ya.   The original Avid-L was killed by avid due to sheer neglect.  I’m off to join the improved DS list!

The Avid-L always was and is an independent group, not run by Avid.  In the
last year or two it became a poisonous morass filled with ugliness and
trolls.  The core users decided to abandon the original -L to start a fresh
new one, much as we are doing now.
