Title: Cannot find SERVER hostname in network database
Sounds like it lost DNS - ask the admin for the addresses of the DNS servers or have them re-enter the configuration info.

To my knowledge no changes have been made to the system.  About 4 months ago I mysteriously lost my connection to the internet but all of the networking within our facility is still operating correctly.  Could this be causing the problem?

Have you changed any names of machines, users or such manually lately? What was the last couple of changes made to your DS system prior to the new error?

Subject: Cannot find SERVER hostname in network database

My message keeps getting bounced, I'll try it without the attachment and see if that helps. The error says, Cannot find SERVER hostname in network database. The lookup for the hostname on the SERVER line in the license file failed. Workaround: Use IP-Address instead of hostname.

Hello,
I am getting an error quite often when I load the DS software or when I enter into a graphics session, I have attached a screen capture of the error.  When it happens while in a project it causes artifacts in the rendered images.  My IT people have not been able to figure out what is going on (I think they have tried the workaround that is listed in the error message as well) and we do not have support right now.  Has anyone had this problem before or know how to fix it?
