made 10 edits, the DS would export the whole 5 min clip 10 times,
quickly making ginormous OMFs.  the only work-around i know of,
besides purging all the media except for what's in your sequence,
is to subclip all the imports...

Even that doesn't work (purging), at least last time I tried - purging the un-needed media just resulted in DS padding the data back out to it's original length, near as I could tell. <grunt>
