"Some settings of the sequence you are opening need to be converted.

To preserve the settings of your original sequence, save the current one with a different name."

Hey all, anyone know what this error message might actually mean?

  When opening a complex long format timeline “sometimes” I get an error message of (or to the effect of)

 

“Some settings not preserved, please resave sequence to preserve setting”

 

Has anyone any idea of what kind of settings or data or metadata I am losing when this happens?

 

My timeline is 25min with an average of 500 clips, 150 matte effects, 500 Colour correction effects and a few dozen other effects thrown in for good measure.

 

It is hard to tell if I have lost anything, and there are no obvious issues once the timeline has been opened.

 

Any insight would be appreciated.
