If you need to scale it, you should scale the base/master rig, then initialize it, then set the home positions, then animate it, and then generate the Behavior rig and transfer the skills.

Ok - a further devlopment to this - I canned the MB rig and went with trasferring the animation off it to an XSI rig - created from the rig giude - now I had to resize the rig from the globalSRT to fit the scene and MB animation.  Now when I do the thing, creating an 'Actor Generate' from my XSI rig, and then transferring the skill from my XSI rig - it gives me the same messages and gives me an action that has my Behaviour rig walking beyond tippytoes!!!  So is this something to do with scaling the XSI rig down using the GlobalSRT???? I thought that 'Actor Generate' would get rid of these problems???  Is this a bog NoNo - should I try and create my XSI rig and leave it at 1 1 1 scale???

Thanks

Sandy

I forgot to mention, when you use Make Skills, try using higher value for the Threshold. This value changes the threshold for the detection of contacts point.

I have never come across this problem, but If I remember correctly, when you create a loco skill it tries to find the keys that represent the contact keys. So if it cannot figure out the contact keys, this error would make sense. You could try resampling your fcurves to make sure that there is enough keys to find those contact points.

Also, you could try to edit your animation to create more “obvious” contact keys.

Hi All - anyone know what this means:

'INFO : Failed to find a valid contact key for LeftFoot_1 during the processing of the walk action source.

'INFO : Failed to find a valid contact key for RightFoot_1 during the processing of the walk action source.

'WARNING : 3000 - Invalid parameter to store in action:

I Get this when I have created a loop out of a walk cycle, then I try to make it into a skill and it bombs out with this message!!!

Thanks

S.
