Tell us more about your scene. Are you using reference models? Group
overrides? Animating visibility? etc.

i have some objects diseapearing from my render region, not showing up
... and sometimes yes...its very strange situation... i didnt play
with hide or render passes/partitions...
i can save my scene with missing object and open it again and voila
its here... but oh wait some other objects now get the "disapear"
sickness...
i have actually notice that i can increase subdivision and decrease
again so it comes back to normal...
but its very annoying...did someone ever had this ?
2.
why is loading the scene thumbnails sometimes slow ? it seems to be
related with big complicated scenes, is it reading the TOC so slow?
but the toc file is small...
