Be careful though, the DNxHD format is compressed. Though Avid seems to be pretty proud of the codec ("reducing the unnecessary overhead / withstands bla bla generations bla"), a friend of mine ripped it apart pretty fast running some bits of colour correction on it.

Does anyone know if the Avid Meridien uncompressed codec has 10bit or 8bit
colourdepth?
