Did you make the curve for the tail a part of the model hierachy before
creating the tail?? If not -as far as I understand it- all dynamics will
be put under the scene node instead of the model. So if you export it
there will be no dynamics left.
I'm looking into the whole dynamics thing myself, including being able
to mix predefined poses for the tail(s), so I can mix animation/dynamics
into an animation. I know this is a bit of thread hyjacking, but if
anyone has tips on this ;)

Subject: tail springs gone west
Hello list,
I have a biped character with a tail that was working fine ie the tail
was springy when the character jumped about. But when I import the model
into a new scene there is no such springy goodness in the tail. All the
bones and spring constraints appear to be there still, but they just
don't do anything.
Is this a simulation problem? Or an export/ import problem or did I
screw up when I made it into a model?
Any help is much appreciated.
I'm using fundamentals 4.2.
