Default start up scene settings

Subject : Default start up scene settings

Is there a way to make your opening (default) scene

open with optimized changes I have made (personal preferences)

Like for instance, instead of me always going into the render settings

to reduce my render window everytime. As well as any other settings I prefer to modify?

It will be saved within my default scene>?
