Forcing absolute paths

Subject : Forcing absolute paths

Hello,

Is there a way to enforce absolute paths? It seems that when I load a
scene from a project that uses models in the Models directory, XSI
automatically switches to relative paths.

As a side note, is there a way to find out if a path is currently
relative/absolute scripting-wise?
