Hi Timo,

I've had exactly the same experience when writing a geometry shader a few
weeks ago. As far as I know, it's a bug.

BTW, I've not tried it so I don't know if it's possible, but you might be
able to script your own picker with the PPG Layout logic. I.e. press a
button to start a picking session, and then store that in a hidden parameter
in the PPG.

Let me know if you have any success.

Cheers

Andy

Hi!

I have a problem with the pick-list GUI. This is the SPDL code I used to
create the menu entry:

---------------------------------------------------------------------
objects
	{
		name = "Objects";
		uiType = "ReferenceWidget.ReferenceWidget.1"
		{
			filter = "{6B579D20-3DC5-11D0-9449-00AA006D3165}";
			mode = "single";
		}
	}
---------------------------------------------------------------------

Picking an object works and my shader is working.
But as soon as the pick-object is the parent of geo shader primitve node,
XSI is going to crash. This must be a SPDL problem.

Is my SPDL code wrong? Or is there an other way to pick an object and pass
it to my shader?

Timo
