It's not your machine, it's not you and it is certainly not Softimage.

It's a virus on someone's machine that simply sends out e-mails with itself attached, to random people, with seemingly random mailing list addresses as the return address. It then waits for gullible persons to run the attachment and hence propagate itself through social engineering.

Just delete it. Maybe think about getting better spam filtering so you don't have to see it again.
