tomas, when you open the schematic, immeadiatly hit CTRL+R that will re-arange the view, as sometimes (most the time for me) it stacks nodes over other nodes by default.
Once you have done that select the element in the explorer hit "f" in the schematic to frame it. If it still doesnt show then you definatly have bigger issues, as like rafe says, everything is shown in the schematic.

Hi Thomas,

Nodes are never hidden in the schematic view. They just turn from a solid box in to an outlined box. You can collapse hierarchies, but not a middle section of a hierarchy.

If I had to guess, I'd say a display/Graphics card problem.

It's probably me but...

Suddenly, things aren't showing up in my schematic view; A whole chunk of my skeleton is not appearing. I thought maybe it was a layer thing, so I got rid of all my layers, but that didn't help. I have checked all the different view options in schematic. Nothing works.

It's really frustrating. I previously had hidden some effectors and roots of my bones, but now i need to get them back, but the bones etc. no longer show up in my schematic -- and it's only certain bones; which are, of course, the bones I need to use. I can select the bone normally in the view port... is there another place I can select my hidden effectors and roots, other than schematic view, and in the view ports?

arrggg...
