Dual Core, Dual

Anyone have the experience use a Dual core AMD 4400 Athlon
vs a dual core, dual Opteron 275.?

The Opterons Dual cores are twice as much money as the Athlon Dual cores.
Someone told me the Athlon 4400 is about the same speed as a Dual core 
Opteron 275.
I am deciding between 2 dual core Athlon vs 1 Dual, dual core Opteron.
