It's because of the dirtmap in the camera. You must use the image rendered before the dirtmap to control the weight of your mix2color in your lense shader. Pick  the alpha from your toon or Lens effect shader.
It's something like that : Lense_Effect > Pick_Channel (alpha) >  weight  in your mix2colors.

I  can send you a preset tonight if you need.

I noticed when I render something, anything with a dark shade becomes an alpha, this makes it hard for me to composite. I end up seeing the bg wherever the darken areas are.

I have a dirtmap effect connected to the camera lens.
A global dirtmap. Can this be part of the reason?
It's driving me nuts.
Does anyone know how to solve this?
