Hi Bernard,

I think you can write a little custom command that sets the checkbox parameter before inspecting the PPG.
And in the custom command you can do whatever you want, and use as many arguments as you want.
But you can't directly pass arguments to custom properties. However, you can add some hidden parameters that could behave as arguments in the OnInit callback.

Hope this helps,

Aloys

Hello,

Anyone know if it's possible to pass arguments to a self-installed property?

I'm writing a self-installed property that allows one to import some
assets in a scene. However, I would like the parameters and widgets to
be conditional to an argument, that is, if the user is  import these
assets for a shot or not.

Right now the ppg has a checkbox for this, wich redraws the ppg when
changed. But I'd like my script that installs the porperty to pass the
shot argument so the user doesn't not have to change a checkbox.

Thanks
Bernard
