oh yeah! i so second that. this is long overdue, would make life super much easier. please, please!

selecting geometry a, moving some uvs, then selecting geometry b (of course, 'a' disappears), moving some other uvs... and always ending up with overlap, or wasteful gaps... or, having to merge the two pieces together... brr! that's just not very zen.

just my two whiner cents.

i like all the new stuff too. and i'm thrilled too.
