Now hang on a second.  We need to look at the big picture.  Soft decided to
aggressively go after a market they had not previously had..the hobbiest.  I
was (and am) a happy lightwave hobbiest, but I bought XSI foundation when the
price became low enough to qualify as "hobby money."  Not all of us are
professional and we just do this because we enjoy it.  I now prefer it and will
most likely move completely over form LW (although I miss hair).

That being said, I would like to see it $100 cheaper, as it would make it fit
easier into my budget, but I understand how amazing the software is for that
price.  Each person is going to have to decide if it's worth it.

Just please remember that there is a huge new user base with different
capabilities than the "old timers."
