A typical >I want everything by Emule< generation problem?

I can understand that for some guys $400,00 is a lot of money. But is it
really that much?
We are talking about the development of a complex high-end pro software.
Money is and will be the main target for all successful operating companies.
An important fact most of the people will not understand anymore. That's my
impression.
No money, no future for visions, ideas ... growing up, paying people well
for their professional knowledge and skills.
No extra profit, no visions possible.

I have to say: the main target for using XSI should be earning money by
serious profession.
How much hours or projects are necessary for a $400 turn-over which could be
invested easily in the next upgrade?!
It's all about organizing and balancing money for business and money for
living and fun.

My opinion.

Joel,

$400 is SUPER FREE OF CHARGE for such amazing soft...........

I can't hear about all those rants that we want free upgrades, it's
expensive, I am poor student etc etc etc etc etc...

I am sick of it.............

for my first Softimage 3.8 I had to took LOAN (I was student then) to pay
something like $16.000 for 4 years !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and it was in Slovakia, compare economy to US or UK and cost of animation
here is fraction of cost over there...............

and now somebody is trying to tell me that $400 is TOO MUCH ?
not long ago I had to upgare for another 4.000 euros...............

so even now price for essentials is super low comapre to what I had to
pay........ and it were hard years to pay all bills + loan...

end of rant because I am sick of people who wants EVERYTHING FOR FREE...

Marek

I'd pay about $250, but I won't be paying $400. I mean, I'm still waiting
for the bugs in 4.2 to be fixed. Now I know it'll cost me another copy of
Foundation (by the time I can afford it) to see a whole host of new ones. I
don't know about you, but that doesn't exactly make me want to *jump* at the
chance of buying into XSI again. Call me a whiner if you like, but that's
how I see it.

By saying this, I realise I'm retaining my status as the most hated person
on this list :)
