Chris, this is fairly rude. It is also degrading to call people's concerns
about money 'whining.' I'm a foundation user, may or may not upgrade, and not
a whiner. But different people have different goals and resources.
Softimage can charge whatever they like. I think the software is well worth
the upgrade price. I thought the original $495 was a steal. Now, the real
question folks have to ask is it worth it to them?
I agree that pricing discussions can get a bit crazy, and this will be my last
post on the subject, but please, a little consideration would help.
