Wow, ppl get angry here alot :D Its like the LW list :P Anyways, saw part of XSI 5.0 demo today at SIGGRAPH - didn't get to user group thing because ILM guys were talking ... you know, ppl from the hall of gods and all (yes, begin a new flame for those who dislike ILM).

I'm still far too new to XSI to really know one thing from another, so odds are I won't be rushing to get the upgrade, although Face Robot looks really cool. I did Foundation too, and yeah it sorta sucks that the upgade price is $100 less than what I paid, but when I consider that before I went to university I was going to take all that money and put it into buying SoftImage 3.x ... this amount seems less. Also, no one is really holding a gun to your head to force an upgrade - see something you need in the new version, buy it, don't see something you need put the upgrade money into buying me a new soundcard since mine just died >< :D

Resume the hate :P
