I had some tech questions about the best/ most optimised hardware for
XSI (since 5.0 is soon to be released) since I plan to invest in a new
system.
1. How efficient are the new dual-core Pentium D processors (single) as
opposed to dual hyper-threaded P-4 processors?
2. Is the new WinXP 64- bit version a reasonably good/ stable
environment that could take advantage of (future) XSI 5.0's 64-bit
build? Especially with drivers and maybe external SPDLs and other
plugins?
