In fact it's an interesting exercise in human perception and how we think we
understand what's right and wrong when really we don't. Stefan wasn't in
the least bothered that the perspective of the reflection is completely
different from the actual object - you can almost see the top of the
cylinder in the real object but you'd be bothered if you could see it in the
reflection. This is telling you that the reflection is certainly being
viewed from a different position to the actual object and it doesn't bother
you. On the other hand, if the reflection isn't identical you throw up your
hands.
This isn't the first time such an enquiry has passed through this forum and
I think I've seen it on the base as well.
