I've often wondered the same Andre. I don't believe there is a
preference to alter this action.

Can someone explain to me why after saving a scene (which in our case
can take minutes) does XSI then as if you want to save your scene again
when you go to create a new one or open another?
Being cautious, we naturally save again when this prompt comes up and
XSI seems to go through the same process of saving.
Is this a preference or something weir like that?
