What about point oven? I'm not sure how well it works with Maya, but getting
characters between XSI and lightwave was a breeze.

You can forget rigging, unless you know something I don't. ;-)

You should be able to get your animated character into XSI, but to rig
in Maya and animate in XSI is going to be close to impossible.

I am doing a personal project with a friend who is a rigger/animator but

only knows maya :( Do u guys have any tips on best way of bridging
modeling/texturing/shading/rendering in xsi with rigging/animation in
Maya?
